One Chick

One chick was made with crayons. One chick finger puppet was made with cotton balls and paper.

Spring chicks created with crayons

I first made the chicks by drawing a circle and colored the inside. Then, I added the wings, feathers, beaks, feet, and eyes. Next, I made the branches, sticks, water, thinking bubbles, eggs, nest, and the border. Finally, I labeled in with a black crayon.

Flying chicks potato prints using acrylic colors

The yellow part of the chicks were the potatoes cut in half. The beaks were painted with a brush. Then, I made the eyes, wings and legs with a pencil. The designs (hat, shoes, ribbons, pants, and speech bubbles) were made with a ultra fine tip black pen.
Tips: Ask daddy to make the potato flat.
